Howard Dunster Snell (born 21 September 1936) is a British trumpeter, brass band composer and brass band conductor.
He was born in Wollaston, Northamptonshire.[2]
He became Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and served on its board. He was also Principal Trumpet of the London Sinfonietta and English Chamber Orchestra.
n 1978 he became involved with brass band music in Leicestershire.
In the late 1980s he worked with what became Foden's Band in Cheshire.
